To provide a contaminated soil treatment system and a contaminated soil treatment method which enables reliable treatment of soil contaminated with hexavalent chromium by preventing reelution of hexavalent chromium.
The contaminated soil treatment system is composed of a contaminated soil treatment machine 200 provided with an oxidation reduction treatment apparatus 1A which accepts earth and sand contaminated with hexavalent chromium and reduces the hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium and a solidifying treatment apparatus 1B which accepts the treated earth and sand from the oxidation reduction treatment apparatus 1A, insolubilizes the trivalent chromium and solidifies the treated earth and sand and a road roller 300 subjecting the modified earth and sand which is discharged from the contaminated soil treatment machine 200 and is buried back to the ground to rolling compaction and releasing air included inside the modified earth and sand.
