Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress combustion noise by properly performing combustion by compression self-ignition.SOLUTION: A control device of a compression self-ignition type engine 1 controls compression self-ignition by ignition. The control device comprises an injector 6, an ignition plug 25 and a controller 10. The controller 10 controls the injector 6 so that fuel is dividedly injected a plurality of times, and after that, outputs a control signal to the ignition plug 25 at prescribed ignition timing so that an unburned mixture is combusted by self-ignition. The controller performs control so that an amount of fuel which is injected at later timing out of a plurality of times of the injection becomes larger at a high-load time than a low-load time of the engine 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
