Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent any wear and noise on the existing contact surface from occurring by holding a good lubricating function without using any additional working such as oil recessing operation or the like for a chain type power transmission belt, and checking any lost motion between a center pin and a side pin as allowing mutual rolling motions between them, thereby making their smooth rolling motions achievable.
CONSTITUTION: In a chain type power transmission belt, a center pin 4 with an incline contacting with a pilley wall surface is inserted into an owing part of a link plate 2, and this center pin 4 is pinched by a side pin 9 fitted in a projection 8 installed in the opening part of the link plate from both sides. At least one side surface in a contact part between the center pin 4 and the side pin 9 is made so as to become a projectingly curved form, while mutual rolling motion is allowed in space between the center pin 4 and the side pin 9, and an engaged body 12 for preventing the mutual sliding motion is installed.
