Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle capable of improving responsiveness to a request for acceleration from a driver without causing deterioration of fuel economy when performing switching from an EV mode to an HEV mode.SOLUTION: A control device of a hybrid vehicle includes: a clutch interposed on a power transmission path between an engine and a drive wheel; a torque converter; an electric motor connected to the drive wheel via a gear; and a second electric motor connected to the engine. Further, when performing switching from an EV mode in which the clutch is disengaged to an HEV mode in which the clutch is engaged and the vehicle travels by the engine, an engine revolution speed is increased using the second motor when torque requested by a driver is equal to or more than a prescribed value.
