Title:
CONTROL DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018042083
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve color reproducibility even in a case where an input image has high saturation or high lightness.SOLUTION: When performing printing in which a white ground is imparted to a color input image, multi-value pixels of the input image and the white ground are generated and it is discriminated whether a color of the multi-level pixel of the input image is a predetermined color. Both a pixel value of each of color material colors of the input image and a pixel value of a white color of the ground are subtracted in such a manner that a total value of both the pixel values becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value. After a color material amount during the printing is limited, the pixels are transformed into a binary pixel array for each color material color using the area gradation method. Based on the binary pixel array that is obtained by transforming the multi-value pixels of the predetermined color, a pixel position at which any one of C, M and Y color components is present and a pixel position at which no color component is present are identified. At least one white pixel disposed at any one pixel position is rearranged at the other pixel position where a white pixel is not disposed, with respect to the white binary pixel array, and a result of the rearrangement is outputted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
