Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus having an improved defocus detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 210 determines a focusing position of a focus lens through a focusing operation, and, subsequently using a focus detector 207, calculates a dispersion value of the defocus amount on the basis of the focus bracket photography and the detection of a plurality of focuses at shooting positions with reference to the focusing position. The control apparatus selects one image determined to be in the sharpest focus from an image group obtained by the focus bracket photography, and calculates a focus correction value used for correcting the defocus amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
