Abstract:
To solve such a problem that control of a stepping motor may not be performed appropriately depending on a movement state of an apparatus having the stepping motor or an environment of the apparatus.SOLUTION: A control apparatus controls a stepping motor. The control apparatus may comprise an acquisition section for acquiring at least one of movement information regarding a movement state of an apparatus having the stepping motor and environment information regarding an environment where the apparatus exists. The control apparatus may comprise a control section for controlling the stepping motor by switching among a plurality of control modes according to at least one of the movement information and the environment information. The plurality of control modes may include a first control mode and a second control mode whose number of steps is smaller than that of the first control mode as well as whose holding force for holding a rotor at a first position is weaker than that of the first control mode or whose power consumption is smaller than that of the first control mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
