Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device that can avoid rich misfire of gas fuel in an internal combustion engine capable of switching fuel used for driving between liquid fuel including alcohol and the gas fuel.SOLUTION: In an engine that uses liquid fuel during a warming-up operation at cold start and enables fuel to be used to be switched from the liquid fuel to gas fuel after completion of the warming-up, after the warming-up operation is completed (No determination in Step ST2), when an oil dilution rate is a predetermined value or more (Yes determination in Step ST3), until the oil dilution rate reaches less than the predetermined value (until No determination is made in ST3), switching from a state where the liquid fuel is used to a state where the gas fuel is used is prohibited (Step ST4). Thus, since the gas fuel is not used in a situation where an air-fuel ratio in a cylinder is lowered due to introduction of the fuel evaporated in an oil pan to an intake system, rich misfire of the gas fuel can be avoided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
