Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of avoiding an excessive increasing of a pressure of intake gas flowing into a cylinder and its boost pressure when a lag torque-down control is carried out during gear changing operation and capable of improving its merchantability.SOLUTION: A control device 1 for an internal combustion engine 3 comprises an ECU 2. The ECU 2 executes a lag torque-down control for controlling an ignition time during a shift-up gear changing operation to a lag side (steps 90 to 91). During execution of this lag torque down control, a throttle valve mechanism 8 is controlled in response to a real boost pressure PTC and when the lag torque-down control is not being carried out and a boost pressure deviation DPTC exceeds a determination value DREF, the throttle valve mechanism 8 is controlled in response to the real boost pressure PTC and in response to a target boost pressure PTCobj when DPTC≤DREF occurs, respectively (steps 61 to 68).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
