Abstract:
To provide a controller of an internal combustion engine capable of accurately estimating a life of an injector.SOLUTION: A controller of an internal combustion engine is configured to inject, from an injector, fuel to which pressure is applied. The controller comprises: an injector life estimation unit configured to estimate degree of abrasion and exhaustion of an injector, based on the number of times fuel is injected and pressure; and a determination unit configured to, when the estimated degree of abrasion and exhaustion exceeds a predetermined threshold, determine that exchange timing of the injector comes. Specially, the injector life estimation unit is configured to estimate the degree of abrasion and exhaustion of the injector by multiplying the number of times fuel is injected by the pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
