Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy by EGR reforming.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control device 1 includes: a recirculation passage 61 for recirculating some of exhaust to an intake passage 4; a fuel-to-be-reformed injector 63 injecting a fuel to be reformed; a reforming catalyst 641 generating reformed gas containing hydrogen by reforming air-fuel mixture to be reformed of the exhaust and the fuel to be reformed; an outlet temperature detection means 66 for detecting an outlet temperature of the reforming catalyst 641; and an EGR reforming means (S10) for generating the reformed gas by supplying the air-fuel mixture to be reformed to the reforming catalyst 641 in accordance with an operation condition of the internal combustion engine 1. If an exhaust temperature is lower than an activation temperature of the reforming catalyst 641, the air-fuel mixture to be reformed is supplied to the reforming catalyst 641 when the outlet temperature of the reforming catalyst 641 is equal to or higher than the activation temperature of the reforming catalyst 641.
