Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that is advantageous in temporarily collecting a part of a printed matter during a printing operation.SOLUTION: The control device comprises: measuring means that measures the number of recorded media outputted to a tray; specifying means that specifies the presence and absence of the recorded media in the tray; initializing means that initializes the number of the recorded media measured by the measuring means; and determining means that when the specifying means specifies the absence of the recorded media, determines, based on values measured by the measuring means and a predetermined threshold, whether or not the measured number should be initialized by the initializing means, where the initializing means, when the determining means determines the measured number is initialized, initializes the measured number.
