Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of battery utilization efficiency, by executing dissolution control for dissolving a reaction participant precipitated in a negative electrode efficiently.SOLUTION: When the deposition amount of active lithium in the negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery exceeds a threshold, an ECU calculates the contact area S(precipitation form of active lithium) of the active lithium and negative electrode, and then calculates the dissolution rate Vof the active lithium by using the contact area Sof the active lithium and negative electrode.
