Abstract:
The invention relates to a control device (10) for a steam cleaner in order to control the discharge of steam. The control device comprises a valve (12) with a first inlet (18), an outlet (20), and a rotatably mounted valve spindle (26). The volumetric flow rate of steam from the first inlet (18) to the outlet (20) can be adjusted dependent on the rotational position of the valve spindle (26). The control device (10) comprises an electric switch (35) that can be actuated by rotating the valve spindle (26) in order to prevent the risk of an accidental steam discharge when the steam cleaner is activated.
