PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that brings a vehicle into a park lock state immediately even when a brake pedal is released immediately after a shift is changed to a parking range and then a driver gets off the vehicle with a parking brake off.SOLUTION: A control device 100 for a vehicle including an automatic transmission TM with a park module 32 includes control part (ATCU10) that brings the park module 32 into a park lock state if brake force of the brake weakens after a shift is changed to a parking range from a drive range while a brake is on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
