Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent problems from occurring in traveling of a vehicle when an obstacle hinders visual recognition of information on an on-vehicle display.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: an obstacle detection section 200 for detecting that an obstacle 700 present in front of an on-vehicle display 100 hinders indication on an on-vehicle display 100; and a function restriction section 350 for placing a restriction on a function related to traveling of a vehicle when the obstacle detection section 200 detects that the obstacle 700 hinders the indication on the on-vehicle display 100. Thus, when the obstacle hinders visual recognition of the information on the on-vehicle display, this configuration can prevent problems from occurring in the traveling of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
