Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of improving quick-drying while preventing flapping of a recording medium by adjusting an air blowing angle.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device conveys a recording medium to which liquid is discharged in one direction after discharging the liquid toward the recording medium. The liquid discharge device includes: air blowing means for blowing air toward the recording medium conveyed in the one direction; detection means for detecting an end orthogonal to the one direction of the recording medium conveyed in the one direction; and angle adjustment means 55 for adjusting the angle of air blown by the air blowing means toward the recording medium conveyed in the one direction. The angle adjustment means adjusts the angle of air blown toward the recording medium conveyed in the one direction by the air blowing means according to whether or not the end is on an upstream side of the detection means in the one direction or a downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
