Abstract:
The method involves detecting at least one revolution rate of the drive unit and controling it in at least one operating state so that the engine revolution rate does not exceed a predetermined threshold rate, whereby a governor is active in at least one drive unit operating state. The governor is rendered inactive in this state(s) depending on at least one other operating parameter, that is the engine speed. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for controling a drive unit in a vehicle.
