Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of sufficiently exhausting anode exhaust gas by making pressure at an inlet of a hydrogen circulation pump higher than the atmospheric pressure when an exhaust valve is opened.SOLUTION: In a hydrogen circulation type fuel cell system, when a valve is opened, rotation speed of a hydrogen circulation pump is reduced and pressure difference between the inlet and an outlet of the hydrogen circulation pump is made lower than hydrogen supply pressure to a stack. As a result, since pressure on an inlet side of the hydrogen circulation pump in a hydrogen circulation path can be prevented from becoming a negative pressure relative to the atmospheric pressure, anode exhaust gas can be exhausted sufficiently by preventing ambient air from flowing back when an exhaust valve is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
