Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reduce a variation in a rotational speed of an engine accompanied by a reduced-cylinder operation or an increased-cylinder operation of a multi-cylinder engine for a heat pump.SOLUTION: A heat pump 100 includes: at least one compressor 211 or 213 driven by a multi-cylinder engine which can perform reduced-cylinder control being control for reducing the number of operation cylinders, and/or increased-cylinder control being control for increasing the number of the operation cylinders; and a heat exchanger 250. In the heat pump 100, the number of the operation cylinders is reduced after performing load alleviation control being control for lowering a power factor of the compressor in the reduced-cylinder control, and the number of the operation cylinders is increased after performing the load alleviation control in the increased-cylinder control. When the heat pump includes a hot gas bypass valve 290, the load alleviation control can be performed by releasing the hot gas bypass valve. When the compressor includes a capacity solenoid valve 291 or 293, the load alleviation control can be performed by opening the capacity solenoid valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
