Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having an interruption printing function, and a technology to reduce the possibility of mixed loading of printed matters of a print job to be interrupted and printed matters of a print job to interrupt.SOLUTION: When a printer 100 receives an interruption instruction during processing of a preceding job, suspends the preceding job and displays, on a liquid crystal display 41, a message A indicating to remove a printed matter 48 in an ejection tray 12. When receiving an instruction to start an interruption job through depression of a start button 42 after the display, the printer 100 starts processing of the interruption job. When receiving depression of an interruption end button 44, the printer 100 displays a message D indicating to set the previously-removed printed matter 48 of the preceding job in the ejection tray 12. When receiving depression of a completion button 45 after the display, the printer 100 resumes processing of the preceding job.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
