Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set insertion/removal control of an infrared cutoff filter to/from an optical path of an imaging optical system, from an external device over a network.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an IRCF drive circuit 24 for inserting/removing an IRCF 4 to/from an optical path of an imaging optical system 2; a communication circuit 14 for receiving an adjusting command in which a luminance value for luminance of an object may be described, and in which when inserting the IRCF 4 into the optical path and removing the IRCF 4 from the optical path, the luminance value may be described separately, from a client device 2000 over an IP network 1500; and a CPU 26 that converts the luminance values described separately in the received adjusting command, thereby making a value resulting from converting the luminance value which is described for the case of insertion in the adjusting command larger than a value resulting from converting the luminance value that is described for the case of removal in the adjusting command.
