PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troubles of printing because a tape type designated by print data is not suitable for a tape type of a tape used by a tape printer.SOLUTION: A tape printer 1a capable of communicating with one or more other tape printers 1b, 1c includes: a tape information acquisition part 81 for acquiring tape information related to a tape to be used by each tape printer 1 including its own printer; a print data generation part 83 for generating print data; an output destination determination part 84 for determining an output destination of the print data among a printing part 86 of the own printer and printing parts 93 of the one or more other printers 1b, 1c on the basis of the generated print data and the acquired tape information of each printer 1; and a print data output part 85 for outputting the print data to the determined output destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
