Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing apparatus that can reduce power consumption while accurately holding a post-processing unit at a post-processing position, and has high productivity.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing apparatus controls drive of a pulse motor to cause the pulse motor to move a post-processing unit to a post-processing position for performing post-processing, and performs the post-processing on a conveyed sheet. The pulse motor is supplied with a first holding power until the post-processing by the post-processing unit is started (S74). Thus, the post-processing unit moved to and stopped at the post-processing position is held stopped. The pulse motor is supplied with a second holding power while the post-processing is performed by the post-processing unit (S76, S77).
