PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user at a subject side to be guided to an imaging range without imaging a surplus surrounding image by notifying it to a portable terminal (smart phone or the like) owned by the user that the user is not in the imaging range to promote the user at the subject side into the imaging range when it cannot be confirmed whether the user at the subject side is within the imaging range.SOLUTION: In an imaging system comprising an imaging device having imaging means, and a portable terminal capable of communicating with the imaging device having storage means for storing first face information, the imaging device detects second face information from an image captured by the imaging means, and transmits the detected second face information to the portable terminal. The mobile terminal receives the transmitted second face information, and collates the received second face information with the first face information. As a result of the collation, it is determined whether information similar to the first face information is contained in the second face information, and it is determined that the information similar to the first face information is not contained in the second face information, it is notified to the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
