Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in quality of a printed matter by performing control in accordance with a binding part executing designation of a binding position and designated binding processing in a device where binding parts are mixed.SOLUTION: An MFP 101 performs exclusive processing on setting inconvenient for combination (S1201) when performing setting of a copy job, performs setting check on whether the copy job can be executed (S1203), performs printing control and binding control in accordance with binding processing when it is determined that the copy job can be executed as a result of checking, and avoids execution of the processing when it is determined that the copy job cannot be executed. The MFP 101 determines whether or not an irreversible sheet is set at the time of printing with reception of printing data (S1710 and S1809), and avoids printing when the irreversible sheet is set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
