Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine which automatically changes a pressing force which a cloth presser presses a cloth according to a cloth feed amount, and a control method of the sewing machine.SOLUTION: A sewing machine includes a feed dog, a feed motor, a cloth presser and a cloth presser motor. The feed dog swings in a reciprocating manner by the drive of the feed motor. A cloth feed amount which is a movement amount in which the feed dog moves the cloth in a front and back direction changes according to the drive of the feed motor. The cloth presser comes into contact with the cloth from above. A pressing force which the cloth presser presses the cloth changes according to the drive of the cloth presser motor. A CPU acquires sewing information (S15). The sewing information stores by associating the cloth feed amount and a pressing force with the number of stitching number. The CPU performs drive control of a main motor and the cloth feed motor and executes sewing based on the acquired sewing information (S25, S31-S37). The CPU executes sewing with the cloth feed amount and the pressing force indicated by the sewing information. Therefore, the sewing machine changes the pressing force according to the cloth feed amount of the sewing information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
