Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of setting the time to when sheet processing is executed on a sheet in the state where the sheet is inserted into an insertion part.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 50 comprises: a sheet insertion port 53 into which an end of a sheet being a processing object is inserted; a stapler 51 which executes staple processing on the sheet in the state where the sheet is inserted into the sheet insertion port 53; and a sheet detection sensor 54 which detects the sheet inserted into the sheet insertion port 53. The sheet processing device 50 displays a setting screen for setting the time from when the sheet detection sensor 54 starts the detection of the sheet to when the staple processing is executed, and makes the stapler 51 execute the staple processing in response to the lapse of the set time after the sheet detection sensor 54 starts the detection of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
