Abstract:
To provide a control method for shortening convergence time until a rotor of a stepping motor stops.SOLUTION: A control method may include: rotating a rotor using an excitation method of simultaneously exciting, among plural stator poles, two stator poles that are adjacent to each other in a rotation direction; when a stop signal for stopping the rotor is detected while the rotor is rotating, exciting the two stator poles that are adjacent to each other in the rotation direction; and exciting a specific stator pole other than the two excited stator poles that are being excited, the specific stator pole being excited by a specific coil arranged so as to increase magnetic force of a first coil that excites a retreat side stator pole positioned on the retreat side in the rotation direction among the two excited stator poles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
