PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve binding strength by a pressure fastening scheme.SOLUTION: Provided is an image formation device for forming an image on sheets to be bound in a sheet processing device that holds a bundle of sheets between a protrusion and a recess facing each other and presses the bundle of sheets to bind, the device comprising: a fixation unit for performing a fixation process on the sheet; a humidity acquisition unit for acquiring the humidity of an environment that affects the moisture content of a sheet that is the object of image formation and output; a thermal dose determination unit for determining a thermal dose to the sheet by the fixation unit in accordance with the acquired humidity; and a heating control unit for controlling a thermal dose to the sheet by the fixation unit in accordance with the determined thermal dose.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
