Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce oscillation that occurs during movement of a sheet processing unit.SOLUTION: The sheet processing apparatus includes: a driving mode determining unit that determines a driving mode of a sheet process moving unit for moving a sheet processing unit, which moves to perform sheet process to a sheet, depending on the properties of natural oscillation, which occurs in the sheet processing unit or the sheet processing apparatus in response to movement of the sheet processing unit; and a driving control unit that drives the sheet process moving unit in the determined driving mode. When the sheet processing unit moves during operation of the sheet processing apparatus, the driving mode determining unit determines the driving mode depending on the properties of natural oscillation, which occurs in the sheet processing apparatus in response to movement of the sheet processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
