Abstract:
To provide a control valve capable of suppressing the deformation of an annular seal member while simplifying the construction of a joint member and reducing the size thereof.SOLUTION: The control valve includes a casing, a valve element, a seal cylinder member 37, an annular seal member 39, and a joint member, the casing having an inflow port, an outflow port, and a fail opening, the valve element being rotatably arranged in the casing, the annular seal member 39 being mounted between the outer peripheral face of the seal cylinder member 37 and the outflow port, the joint member having a joint chamber 85 opened striding over the outflow port and the fail opening, and a connection port connecting the joint chamber 85 and an external flow path. In a block on the joint member side, an approximately C-shaped support wall 82 is formed to support part of the annular seal member 39 at the end face on the outflow port side. On the joint member side of the annular seal member 39, a hard holding member is arranged for holding the annular seal member 39 at least in a defective part on the circumference of the support wall 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
