Abstract:
The invention relates to a controller for an unbalanced mass adjusting unit in a vibration exciter. Said controller comprises an adjusting piston (3) for changing the relative position of unbalanced masses in the vibration exciter (1) that is coupled to a reference piston (7). The position of a piston rod (10) of the reference piston (7) is detected by a pressure sensor (12) and is furnished to a controller (14) in the form of a position signal (13). The controller (14) compares the position signal (13) with an operating signal (15) given by an operator and generates a control signal (16) with which the position of a selector valve (18) that controls the oil supply to or the oil discharge from the reference piston (7) can be changed.
