Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a reproduction processing time by reproducing a video signal and an audio signal without preliminary search.
CONSTITUTION: A video signal is written in a field memory 31 at reproduction of the video signal and the video signal is reproduced and displayed on a display device or the like. When the audio signal is not reproduced, a succeeding track is selected and a succeeding video signal is reproduced. In the case of reproducing the audio signal, an audio track is searched and the audio track corresponding to the video track is detected to reproduce the audio signal.
