Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device which reduces possibility of jam of discharged sheets, and facilitates detachment of a discharge tray from a main body.SOLUTION: A device comprises a sheet feeding tray 20 and a discharge tray 21 which can be withdrawn in a cross direction from a printer housing 14. The discharge tray 21 is attached to the printer housing 14 on an upper side of the sheet feeding tray 20, and has a protrusion part 84 protruding upward. The printer housing 14 comprises a support part 51 for supporting a front part of the discharge tray 21 from a lower side, a first contact part 81 which contacts a rear part of the discharge tray 21 from an upper side, and a second contact part 82 which contacts the protrusion part 84 when the discharge tray 21 is detached. When the discharge tray 21 in an attached state is rotated by a first amount to a direction of an arrow 102, the protrusion part 84 is moved to a lower side of the second contact part 82 where it does not contact the second contact part 82. When the discharge tray 21 in the attached state is rotated by an amount less than the first amount to the direction of the arrow 102, it contacts the sheet feeding tray 20 in the printer housing 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
