Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a cooling device capable of appropriately suppressing a temperature change of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A cooling device comprises a cooling water passage, a temperature sensor, a water pump, and a control device. The cooling water passage connects a radiator and an internal combustion engine, and cooling water circulates therein. The temperature sensor detects temperature of the cooling water. The water pump circulates the cooling water. When the detected value of the temperature sensor exceeds a first predetermined value, the control device determines a driving time of the water pump (S8) and switches the water pump to an ON state (S12). Further, a switching prohibition period for prohibiting switching of the water pump to the ON state is provided regardless of whether or not the detected value of the temperature sensor exceeds the first predetermined value when the water pump is switched to the ON state (S10, S12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
