Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a gas at low cost.SOLUTION: On the same surface 5g that is substantially vertical to a flow direction of a high-temperature gas G1, a plurality of discharge ports 5d are provided for discharging a low-temperature gas A2 into a flow of the high-temperature gas. An area in the vicinity of the same surface where the plurality of discharge ports are present in the flow of the high-temperature gas is divided into a plurality of independent flow passages 5f. The low-temperature gas is discharged from each of the plurality of discharge ports to each of the divided flow passages, such that the high-temperature gas is cooled. The plurality of discharge ports are provided for a plurality of stages along the flow of the high-temperature gas, and only an area in the vicinity of the plurality of discharge ports at a most downstream side of the high-temperature gas can be divided into a plurality of independent flow passages. The high-temperature gas can be defined as a part of a cement kiln exhaust gas that is extracted from a kiln exhaust gas flow passage from a kiln tail of a cement kiln to a lowermost cyclone of a preheater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
