Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold capable of uniformly cooling a work when cooling the heated work in a pressed or restricted state.SOLUTION: This metal mold 1 is a metal mold 1 for cooling a heated work W in a pressed state, and comprises a lower die 10 for forming a recessed part 11 for storing water for cooling the work W on a molding surface and arranging the whole of the work W in an inside space S of the recessed part 11 and an upper die 20 for forming a projection part 21 corresponding to the recessed part 11 of the lower die 10 on the molding surface. In the metal mold 1, water supply passage parts 12 and 22 for supplying the water to the inside space S of the recessed part 11 are respectively formed in the lower die 10 and the upper die 20, and a passage part 1c and an upper die recovery passage part 23 are formed for upwardly discharging air in the inside space S of the recessed part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
