Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wheel chair which is enhanced in feel of use, ease of use and durability by maintaining sheets constituting a seat part always clean, making the chair easily foldabale and reinforcing a back pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The sheets 10, 12 constituting the seat part are formed freely attachably and detachably to and from a wheel chair body. A belt which is attachable and detachable with one operation is mounted on the upper side of a hip rest sheet constituting the seat part to permit easy folding of the wheel chair. Further, horizontal members 4b, 4c constituting cross frames 4 of the wheel chair are provided with protective members to relieve the impact applied on the cross frames or the front pipe 1b of the body frame at the time of folding the chair. Further, the back pipe 1a constituting the body frame is internally provided with the reinforcing member to reinforce the back pipe against the deflection toward the inner side, by which the durability of the back pipe is enhanced.
