Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter clearance measuring device for an elevator which can clean a light transmission surface of a photoelectronic sensor at frequencies necessary and sufficient to maintain function.SOLUTION: The counter clearance measuring device comprises: a photoelectronic sensor 6 that is used for measuring an interval dimension (counter clearance) Y1 between balance weight 1 which moves up and down a hoistway of an elevator installed in a building in a vertical direction along a guide rail 2 and a buffer 4 installed on a pit floor 3 as a bottom part floor of the hoistway below in a vertical direction of the weight 1; a cleaning device 7 installed near the sensor 6; and an elevator control portion 10 that can control elevation operation of an elevator car connected to the weight 1 with a wire rope and calculate an interval dimension Y1 according to detection signals from the sensor 6 which detects well bucket-type operation of the weight 1 accompanying the elevation operation of the elevator car. When abnormality is confirmed from a monitoring result of operation of the sensor 6 by the control portion 10, the cleaning device 7 receives an operation command from the control portion 10 and cleans the light transmission face of the sensor 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
