Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which processes are consistently executed from a printing step for printing coupons to a step for processing a forgery preventing pattern composed of multiple fine holes onto the coupons.SOLUTION: A system 1 for manufacturing coupons having a forgery preventing pattern comprises: variable printing means 2 for printing coupons to be distributed to consumers; scanner means 3 for optically reading a recognition object pattern, which forms a basis of the forgery preventing pattern composed of multiple fine holes, from the coupons printed by the variable printing means 2; laser processing means 4 for processing the forgery preventing pattern onto the coupons by irradiating the coupons with a laser beam and processing fine holes in the coupons; and control means 5 for generating the forgery preventing pattern in accordance with the recognition object pattern which has been optically read from the coupons by the scanner means, and instructing the laser processing means 4 to process the forgery preventing pattern in accordance with the recognition object pattern.
