To provide a cover device for a wiring duct, the cover device having low deflection, providing light operation of rotatably opening/closing a duct aperture even though a wiring cover has high rigidity, and being capable of suppressing generation of sound of collision, on an article of furniture or utensil comprising a wiring duct, such as a desk, table, or bench.SOLUTION: A cover device for a wiring duct is configured by providing wiring covers 5 so as to be capable of being rotatably opened/closed to a duct aperture 4 provided at an appropriate position of an article of furniture or utensil. Base end parts of the wiring covers are vertically rotatably supported by shaft support parts 7 on at least two bearing tools 6 arranged inside the duct aperture. A stroke type damper 8 is vertically supported in the vicinity of a shaft support part of the bearing tool. An operation pin 9 having a hemispherical contact part 22 at an upper end part thereof is disposed upwardly. Thereby, the operation pin comes into contact with a reception surface 10 of a wiring cover to elastically energize the wiring cover in an opening direction until the wiring cover is in a horizontal state after the cover is in a state of being inclined by a predetermined angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
