Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation prevention tool that can be used as means for preventing channel steel having a lip from being deformed by over-tightening of a bolt when an end part of the channel steel having a lip is fixed to another member by a bolt.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a pair of flat plate portions 21a, 21b of which inner ends are connected by U-turn part 20, stoppers 19 formed at outer ends of the flat plate portions, and pull-out stopper engaging protrusions 22 formed to project outwardly at both flat plates. The pull-out stopper engaging protrusions 22 have a wider clearance between lips 16 of the channel steel and when at least one stopper 19 is adjacent to the end surface of a rear plate 14 of the channel steel, the pull-out stopper engaging protrusions 22 are fitted into a lateral long engaging hole 23 formed at the rear plate, and a bolt 24 connecting the end part of the channel steel with another member passes inside the U-turn part 20 and passes between both right and left plates 15 of channel steel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
