Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal element allowing for improvement in the electrical characteristics thereof while reducing an increase in equivalent series resistance value even when the crystal element is miniaturized.SOLUTION: A crystal element 120 is comprised of : a crystal blank 121 having a substantially rectangular shape in plan view; and a metal pattern 122 provided on the crystal blank 121 and comprised of an excitation electrode portion 123 and a connecting wiring portion 124 extending from the excitation electrode portion 123 toward an outer edge of the crystal blank 121. Three recessed portions 125 (125a, 125b, 125c) are formed in a side surface including one short side of the crystal blank 121 in plan view of the side surface including one short side of the crystal blank 121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
