Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring cutting device and a cutting method enabled to form a seal fin tip having an excellent seal performance by a cutting work.SOLUTION: A seal ring cutting device comprises: a cutting tool for cutting the leading ends of the seal fins of a seal ring; a first guide disposed to abut against the reference plane of the seal ring for holding the position of the cutting tool with reference to the reference plane so that the angle of the leading end face of the cutting tool with respect to the axial direction of the seal ring may be a set angle; and a connection frame for supporting the cutting tool on the first guide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
