Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for cutting a cast piece into a cusp by symmetric press fitting of wedge-shaped teeth for high-speed cast and rolling yield improvement in the continuous casting of steel in which the device is miniaturized and the collision and impact loss of teeth are reduced.SOLUTION: A driving source is changed into a hydraulic system from a conventional electric power-transmitting system for miniaturization/simplification and impact/wear-resistance. The teeth collision due to degradation of the teeth operation accuracy and the impact due to sudden change of a load occur with oil pressure. A truck is restrained in a strong sliding track and is made to travel for impact resistance, a cutting device body is restrained in a strong sliding lifting/lowering frame provided in the truck and is lifted/lowered, and both teeth tips are made to differ before and after the pull-out direction and one side tooth is enabled to slide in the pull-out direction. Both teeth tips exceed a cast piece path core and teeth tip sides come close, and then the collision is prevented and the impact is eased by the teeth retraction. The bend is not generated in a cast piece by the structure being cut with the cast piece path core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
