Abstract:
The method involves machining at least one of, but preferably both of, two outermost bore surfaces to generate a bearing surface for machining further bore surfaces. A boring rod (1) is inserted through one of the machined outermost bores in at least one bore between the outermost bore surfaces. Preferably, the work piece is rotated 180 degrees before the second outermost bore surface is machined.
