Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject stable crystal of N-(trans-4-isopropylcyclohexyl carbonyl)-D-phenylalanine and the method for producing the same.
CONSTITUTION: The objective H type crystal of N-(trans-4-isopropylcyclohexylcarbonyl)-D-phenylalanine, having at least one physical property of (a) melting point; 136-142°C, (b) powdery X-ray diffraction peak; 8.1°, 13.1° 19.6° and 19.9° (2θ) and (c) wave number of an infrared absorption spectrum; 1714, 1649, 1542 and 1214 (cm-1) and expressed by the formula. Furthermore, the objective method for producing the H type crystal is characterized by treating the compound in a solvent at ≥10°C.
