Title:
The damper mechanism of a torque transmission device
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5955793
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the impact of a lock-up clutch on a damper mechanism at starting the rotation of a driven plate relative to a spring holding plate.SOLUTION: On a spring holding plate 3 joined to a lock-up piston, a spring supported at both ends on an abutment part 34 adjacent thereto in the peripheral direction is arranged in a preload state. On a driven plate 4, a spring receiving part 45 is provided for pushing the spring at one end during the rotation relative to the spring holding plate 3. An abutment edge 45c of the spring receiving part 45 is inclined to an edge 34d of the abutment part 34 supporting the spring at one end so as to be protruded at its radial outer periphery side further to the spring side than its inner periphery side, and has a peripheral protruded end P. At starting relative rotation, the peripheral protruded end P pushes the circularly arranged spring at its outer diameter side where a compression degree of the spring is low, thus reducing the change gradient of transmission torque to the driven plate to surely prevent the impact.
