Abstract:
To provide a damper which can generate low damping force and high damping force without impairing mountability.SOLUTION: A damper D of the invention includes: an extension side high damping valve 6 which provides resistance to flow of a liquid flowing from a rod side chamber R1 to a piston side chamber R2; a pressure side high damping valve 8 which provides resistance to flow of a liquid flowing from the piston side chamber R2 to the tank 4; a pressure side suction valve 10 which allows only flow of a liquid flowing from the tank 4 to the piston side chamber R2; an extension side low damping valve 12 which provides resistance to flow of a liquid flowing from the rod side chamber R1 to the tank 4; a pressure side low damping valve 14 which provides resistance to the flow of the liquid flowing from the piston side chamber R2 to the tank 4; a switch valve element 15 which opens or closes a second extension side passage 11 and a second pressure side passage 13; and a valve element 17 and a check valve 18 provided in parallel to an adjustment passage 16 allowing communication between the rod side chamber R1 and the piston side chamber R2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
